Last Sunday night after the event we attended, our limo driver Ron, a very nice man brought us home. Before he left he asked Dennis for an autographed photo, so we invited him inside. Diesel our dog was excited and ran over to play with him. I told the kids to put Diesel outside so he wouldn’t bother Ron. Little did we know Ron had accidentally left the gate open. While Dennis signed some football stuff for Ron we talked awhile and then he left. About 2:30 AM I got a call from a 24 hour Vet Service saying a lady had found Diesel. I thought Diesel was inside sleep the whole time. I checked and he wasn’t in the house, he had in fact slipped out the gate. How blessed we are that two sweet young ladies, who also own pitbulls found him. They said when he got in the car he got in the front seat and put his head out of the window like he was ready for a ride. Diesel’s dog tag had fallen off, so they had to go to the Vet to check his microchip. That’s how they found us. When the girls brought Diesel home, they became instant friends with my son. Don’t worry we got Diesel a new USC dog tag the next day.  ~Andree’ Honore’ Smith
